I have been blogging for almost four years. My "other" blog is one about my family and what I am learning as a mama. It includes a lot of fun posts, pictures, and little sayings or happenings I don't want to forget. I like to think of it as a digital scrapbook.
This blog will have an entirely different purpose. I found myself posting more and more biblical "articles" and "musings" on my family blog. Of course, I want to shine my light wherever I am but I needed another place to go for my biblical studies to be voiced.
I begin this blog with great humility. As a student of the Word, I know many men and women in this world have far more knowledge than me. I've thought about the verse in James 3..."Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly."
I'm not presuming to be a teacher. In fact, through visitors comments I hope to learn!
So, with a lot of prayer I will begin this journey of talking about the God I know. The God who has guided my life from infancy. The God who I trust. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Father of the Messiah, Yeshua. Yahweh.
